Advice for Road Runners: The ASICS Women's GT-2000 12 Running Shoes are very cushioned and provide added stability. ASICS consider them to be the most comfortable version of this style yet.

Underfoot Feel

The midsole predominantly consists of ASICS' FF Blast™ Plus foam - which is lightweight and bouncy. In the heel area, ASICS' PureGEL™ technology delivers improved softness and shock absorption to reduce the impact on your joints.

The majority of the stability for your feet and legs is provided by ASICS' 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™. For the avoidance of doubt, these ASICS running shoes are designed to provide more stability in comparison to neutral running shoes.

Whilst they feature premium cushioning technology, in comparison to max-cushioned alternatives, they are not ultra-plush underfoot.

Upper Fit

The engineered mesh upper helps with breathability and comfort. The distinctive 'lean back' design at the heel counter helps reduce irritation around the back of the ankle.

Ideal Run Type

The ASICS Women's GT-2000 12 Running Shoes are best for slower paced - lower intensity - run days. They should offer ample cushioning for long-distance runs.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
